2+5: Missione Hydra is an Italian film from 1966. As to be expected, there are some super stylish outfits and some sexy looking people in the film.....not that these two chaps up front are good examples of either.

This is one bizarre slice of mozzarella. It almost seems like an espionage flick for awhile then goes into full-blown sci fi b-movie goodness. Aliens abduct some hot Italian people including a wacky, hip model/daughter of a scientist who always carries her weird fetishy outfits in her carey-on. The hunky/sexy humans teach the hunky/sexy aliens how to love, then they all find out they've been travelling so long both of their planets have been destroyed. Also there are some hairy ape people. And Chinese spies who get killed by said apes because those guys are always expendable, right? Definitely worth a look for the "what the hell was that??" factor alone!

ReplyDeleteI have a soft spot for Italian scifi cheesefests. I've never dropped acid but I'll bet it's a lot like parts of this film.
