Event Horizon (1997)

I quite like this film. It's Hellraiser in space, sort of. Or 2001 meets the Exorcist. For my money I could have taken a bigger revelation at the end; something Lovcraftian crossing back over into our world, even as a post credits glimpse. At the very least I like to pretend it's set in a shared universe with Disney's The Black Hole.

    I loved this movie. I saw it in theaters and it seems like everyone in the movie had just wandered in randomly and none of us, including myself, knew what the movie was about. We all walked out stunned. Great movie!

    I distinctly remember being quite pumped after seeing this myself. Long overdue for a re-watch I think
