The first of the TV sequels which was also remade as a movie by Hammer Films. When they did that they didn't include this particular scene, preferring instead to keep Bernard Quatermass earthbound.
I think this pictures are from the Quatermass tv series not the movie (before the movies there was the tv series. In the movie they destroy the alien asteroid with an unmanned missile. In the tv series Quatermass himself and an assistente go to the asteroid on an atomic rocket and destroy the aliens ejecting the nuclear core. If you look at the pictures the actor is not Brian Donlevy, the movie Quatermass, is the tv actor
Hi Jorge. Yes you are correct... as am I. This is a post for the TV series and for all the reason you just set out. The TV show was 1955 as labelled top and bottom of the post. The film was 1957 with no spacesuits and as such will never be featured here. I think my introduction to the pictures may have confused you because I mention the film as well.
