  2. Bit of a cheap looking suit with those exposed rivets and fixed face plate,is this the low budget version of the Martian perhaps?.
    I`ve also got one you have to post,its a 70s blacksploitation movie with a spacesuit in it,I swear I`m not making it up,its from way back in 1972 and titled Top of the heap,it looks to be the same suit that showed up in several episodes of the six million dollar man during its run,this could well be its first appearance.

    3. Regarding the exposed rivets, I'd point you to the dining helmet at the bottom of this page:

      I agree it looks cheap, but it does seem to be practical, at least for a diving helmet.

  3. I do agree that exposed rivets look cheap, but I found it interesting that they can actually be used to make an airtight seal.
