Lovely picture, have a click on it to really appreciate the quality of the work.

    1. An amusing possibility however I believe it's Michael Whelan's daughter done when she was aged 3.

    2. Yes, he used his daughter to model for this one. This is one of my favorite MW art pieces of all time. Would love it if he did my cover he is expensive.

    3. I have to say that looking at a lot of his stuff recently has increased my appreciation. There are some great illustrations but there are some fantastic pieces of Art; truly lovely pictures that should be hung on walls not just wrapped around books

  2. I badly want the "Robots of the Dawn" and "Foundation" for my writing office. Wondrous art that inspirits and if there is a heaven...I want to look like that

    1. Both wonderful pieces.

I'd like the cover for The Floating Gods by M. John Harrison to hang on the wall but interestingly I also like all the spiral shell ones in spite of my normally darker tastes.
