2001: A Space Odyssey - poster art (1968)

Artwork by Robert McCall for one of the 2001: A Space Odyssey posters, which is lovely in every way.

And what I really like about this artwork is that it lends its self so very well to a little bit of; What if..
In the previous post we had looked at Airfix Astronauts model kit figures but imagine if Airfix had have made these:

    Yeah, it's good. There are other posters for the film but they're nothing like this.

      Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield wore a reproduction Clavius spacesuit at a comic book convention:

      Curiously, one of his offhand comments was that the helmet gave lots of room in front of his face. I'm dying to know if that's a good thing, or a bad thing, and why.
