Welcome to 2019. Its been a while since I posted although I've carried on replying to the various comments that have appeared over the last couple of months - thanks and keep them coming.
Anyway I'll try and pick up the pace a bit for this newest of years so lets start with something almost only half a spacesuit but full on sexy..... if Jane Fonda is your kind of thing...and why wouldn't she be!
What follows are some very nice images for just one of the outfits featured in the 1968 sci-fi classic Barbarella but after that I strongly recommend that you follow the link below to view the rest of her intergalactic wardrobe. Its a fascinating collection of images and contains quite a few I hadn't seen before.
Once you've been over there and had a good look you might want to go watch the movie and get in on the fun. It's kept me entertained for decades over repeated viewing and there really is nothing quite like it.
Back Soon

Break Free - Ariana Grande (2014)
Another homage to Barbarella. This time its Break Free by Ariana Grande. It's not really my kind of thing but feel free to go look in the usual places if you want to enjoy the tune and watch the full video.

Bee Gees - Alone (1998)
Very, very indifferent to everything the Bee Gees ever did so I'm not at all surprised I didn't know about this video. (Cheers Tim) It's another Barabarella parody however, unlike the original film and the Kylie version, this manages to remain dull while failing to give even a nod in the general direction of the erotic.
It might be the fact that, you can't really see anything through the video colour bleed or it's the constant return edit back to three bearded men harmonising in a padded cell but its a big bucket of cold water of a video.
That's a sort of spacesuit by the way.
Bring me the head of the art director.
Here's Kylie to make everything alright again

Put Yourself in My Place by Kylie Minogue - Video (1994)
Images from a music video. Thank you Tim for the pointer. It's a lovely gift; Kylie in a Spacesuit/Kylie getting out of a spacesuit.- Nice.
A little ashamed to say I was unaware of this video. Which is the kind of crime they kick you out of the Men's Club for. It's clearly inspired by the Barbarella opening sequence but in a good way that just makes you wish they would make more Barbarella films
All aboard
Don't need this big bulky thing anymore, thinks Kylie
And then she continues to take even more off in a perfectly innocent a zero-G strip and why shouldn't she she's all alone
O'oh! Space perverts on the starboard bow
It's alright Kylie's got a remedy for that.
...and steams the little tinkers right off the hull.
Down to just her space panties and even they are on their way off
All kinds of naked now and just about to grab a nice big space blanket when she spots one last tenacious voyeur (or did she know he was there all the time, the little minx)
..and shuts him out before going to bed.
It's all on Youtube, and other similar places, so go have a little look-see but don't get upset with me if you find you've wasted a hour of your life watching all the available Kylie videos.
Something for the weekend?

Director And His Space Muse 3 (1968)
Jane Fonda and the director Roger Vadim on the set of Barbarella.
This might be considered strange behaviour but he was her husband at the time so that makes it all perfectly acceptable. This is the shot he was going for I imagine....
...which makes you wonder if he was there all the time, just below frame, gently breathing the aroma of secondary croissant up her helmet in order to inspire the dreamy faraway look he was after. What a star.

Barbarella (1968)
The film of the French comic... The most psychedelic piece of 60’s sci-fi ever made... Jane Fonda endlessly loosing/changing her clothes... The sexiest wardrobe of any leading lady.
But unfortunately we’re only going to be looking at this one; The Spacesuit.
It isn’t the best in the film but it does come off easily...
...in the first few minutes of the film if I remember correctly but this is as far as we're going here.
Go buy the DVD
