It looks more like a prop to me, than a real pressuresuit helmet. The mask and hose flanged onto the bubble looks very much like this 1940's fighter pilot oxygen mask. Well the Radio Times used what looks like the same suits the same year for publicity pictures for Journey into Space (there are images if you look the show up in the labels index) though I've yet to find anything before 53 There's something realistic about the suit, though. Maybe its because its a fiction built on factual like a Star Wars gun ? Time will tell
It's the way the mask mates to the glass that looks impressive to me. there's a bit artfulness to it that is beyond the normal standard that you get with most props. It's a nice clear snap too.
That helmet has the look of something authentic, I don't think it can just be a prop.
