And Talking of BBC documentaries how about this one; Space Odyssey: Voyage to the Planets, from back in 2004.
Set in the near-future, this fact-based BBC 2 part drama follows a group of astronauts as they undertake an epic voyage across the solar system, trying to capture an icy block from one of Saturn's rings, getting lost in a Venusian sulphuric acid storm and attempting to drill into the disintegrating surface of a comet along the way.
Made by Tim Haines, creator of the hit series 'Walking With Dinosaurs', the CGI-rich drama is drawn from the latest scientific thinking, the opinions of medical experts and the real-life experience of astronauts.
I saw most of this back in 2004 but its maybe time for a revisit

Found an interesting pic from a short film from 2011 titled Departure, but so far I havent been able to find a copy of it just a preview clip which looked pretty good for a low budget production
