Deep Space Homer is the 15th episode of
The Simpsons' 5th season and first aired on February 24, 1994. You've probably seen it.
As well as guest starring real life astronauts; Buzz Aldrin, astronaut Edward Lu asked for a copy of the episode to be sent on a supply ship to the International Space Station where it remains there for fellow astronauts to view.
