I was recommended this by a pretentious snob at work, I love it. It has a small cast, good story and a very desolate looking set. I would say that this movie beats Prometheus which I hated. As for "love letter" I would add a touch Blade Runner. Sam Rockwell can be such a good actor and the addition of Kevin Spacey was genius.
