Starcom was in fact one of the more carefully written shows of it's era. Attention to some of the small details, like the spacecraft using maneuvering thrusters to change attitudes, added to the show's legitimacy factor.Greghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05257019441860891929noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6253387388436808262.post-42608753740660616972014-05-07T13:37:18.482-07:002014-05-07T13:37:18.482-07:00re-buying lost toys is probably the secret to happ...re-buying lost toys is probably the secret to happinessStevehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01906649879585791348noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6253387388436808262.post-83240381540134939462014-05-06T22:47:40.436-07:002014-05-06T22:47:40.436-07:00I had two space ships and half a dozen figures as ...I had two space ships and half a dozen figures as a kid, but I foolishly traded them to another kid in the neighborhood. One of the great joys of playing with my micronauts as a youngsters was that they could take on Stormtrooper and Darth Vader.... What doomed STARCOM was the figures, vehicles, and playsets were not too small for you to use your GI Joes or Star Wars figures, and they were pricey for the time. Plus, when the TV (more like long advert) series died, so went the toys. I knew few people back in the day that had the toys, and if they did, they had one or two. <br />Still, the military spacesuits were cool.
