2001 - A Space Odyssey - Behind the scenes. (1968)

Just a great picture.  Not quite behind the scenes in the usual sense.  From what I can find out, this is a test shot of one of the primitive men from the films opening scene before Stanley decided he wanted something even more primitive and less evolved.  Definitely the correct decision but what an image.

Fire In The Sky (1993)

Fire in the Sky is a 1993 film based on an alleged extra-terrestrial encounter, directed by Robert Lieberman and based on Travis Walton's book The Walton Experience.

In this scene the film suggests that the well know "Greys" are in fact just the spacesuits worn by the aliens

...For the love of god, man.  Behind you, its behind you!

Topps Mars Attacks Invasion Trading Cards (2013)

Trapped in Space (1995)

 

After an accident during a routine trip to Venus, a spaceship has only enough oxygen left for three people, unfortunately there are five on board.  Trapped in Space is a based on the Arthur C. Clarke short story Breaking Strain.

I stumbled over this on TV the other day but watched only a few minutes as it was already part way through.  It looked OK so I'll catch it next time around.
